I found this vintage shaggy flokati rug at a local thrift store for $9.99. It’s in pretty good shape, super fluffy and lushly warm underfoot as the temperature has continued to drop.
It does have a pretty wicked pink stain on one outer edge – which I skillfully hid under the bed. Crafty.
I picked up this 1960’s pastel portrait drawing for $5 at the local Angel View Thrift and threw it in a cheap Target frame (whose reflective Plexiglas makes it difficult to photograph. Damn you cheap frame). The original frame was pretty busted up and couldn’t be salvaged.

I installed her in the pink bathroom so that she can judgmentally stare at you over the toilet. It’s the worst for boys…
I picked up this pair of lamps as a possibility to throw on a credenza or in the master bedroom. Yeah, they don’t fit anywhere in the house. Crap.
Then I bought this pair of tables to use as either a coffee table in the den or as night stands in the guest bedroom. They didn’t work in either of those places so I stuck them under the den shelving unit to store books and magazines and to use as a drink rest.
Here’s a better view. The den is like the worst room to take photographs in.
I like the rounded cube thing that’s going on. Maybe I should make little square pillows so that they are like little ottomans. Hmmm, that’s stupid. Crap.
