Thrifty

Here are a few more of the choice items I recently picked up on the thrift marathon.

Holler! I love her. SO MUCH.
She’s living in the newly arranged dinning room.

A nifty Lightolier floor lamp purchased at Angel View Thrift in Palm Springs – it totally needs to rewired. I am still craving the all brass Laurel lamp I saw at the Estate Sale Store, but at $150 it was priced out of reach.

My first Lagardo Tackett cookie jar!

Not thrifted though. I paid top dollar at a vintage store since I am like retarded in love with all his work. I saw it weeks ago and couldn’t get it out of my mind – so I splurged.

My new entry wall with my new shelving unit. I still want to install an Eames hang-it-all near the front door to finish it off, so if anyone has one they are looking to get rid of – holler at me!

Thrifty!

I think I might actually be thrifted out.

A friend visited this weekend to go on a whirlwind thrifting adventure to stock up for her big move to the east coast. We hit Palm Springs, Temecula, Hemet and everywhere in between. I don’t think I’ve ever been to that many thrift stores in a two day period.

There were many, many, many awesome scores – and I think after a long drought the thrift stores were plentiful in fine objects. I haven’t had time (or energy) to sort through it all but I wanted to give a sneak peak…

Wooohoo! Two awesome Arabia pitchers!

THIS might be my new favorite thing.

We are going to glam this bitch up with this fancy new Lucite and brass chandelier! It’s going in the bedroom, no matter what the Boy says.

***Thanks M – it was a BLAST!

Spring Break!

WOOOOOHOOOOO. Spring Break ’09!

I love me some vacation time and thought I put up a few travel/party themed items at the old Etsy Store.

Check out Spring Break mania: Travel Thermos, Arizona Glasses, Oregon Tray, Scandinavian Coasters! As well as other new and thrifty goodness.

I’m going to go wild now. TO THE XTREME.
