Den

March 31st, 2010

The new Eames lounger got a spot in the den.

I updated the shelving unit to celebrate.

The fake Eames lounger got relegated to the bedroom.

I took a nap to celebrate.

I can’t tell the fake from the authentic. Maybe the fake lacks that wood grain?

You really have me salivating for an Eames lounger…I’ll even take a fake one!

Looks like you need about 3 more Eames 670′s.. you know one for each room.. ;)

Looks amazing, Who makes the teak shelving unit you have in your den?

Its nice (and rare) to ba able to compare side by side : the fake is actually a pretty good imitation it seems.

I guess you can never have *too* many Eames Loungers… :-)

      Now I’m going to take a 4 o’clock nap and dream I’m in a lounger…

Nice! Both look great in each location. I decided my most favourite thing in the world to do is to sleep.

I’ve been meaning to ask: where did you find the brass hardware for your shelving? We’ve been looking for something affordable and non-ugly for almost a year.

i highly (highly) respect your empty upper shelf…why is it that i can never pull off an empty shelf?

The shelving is vintage…I traded a dealer for i a long while ago and he got it from an estate sale. Not sure who makes it or where you could get matching hardware.

      Wow. Really love it.
