Another Ace Hotel inspired shelving unit from the blog Ascot Friday. I’m going to take a little credit for inspiring this awesome project, you know, cause I’m just a bit of a narcissist. She did a great job, it looks so very lovely and is super budget friendly. Anyone can really do this pretty simply.
What really peaked my interest is that rad typography poster.
Looks like it’s the new OLUNDA poster from Ikea. I have to admit it’s the first print from Ikea I’ve ever really considered buying. Now I’ve got to see it in person…

I love ÅÄÖ!
i love that poster too, its been out of stock here for a while…
(Oops, posted without my name)
Kind of, sort of, reminds me of the Helveitca Film poster I have. http://www.helveticafilm.com/shop.html
Also scary to see your "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster which I also have (in grey). Good taste in art.
Crazy to see how often your house changes! What happened to Equis poster and it's Scandinavian friend? I think I miss it.
Oooo, I like that poster too, I'll have to check it out.
Louis, I don't think this is Morgan's house, just some shelves that look like her's
No this isn't my house – it's a totally DIFFERENT house with a person who also made an Ace inspired shelf. She linked to my blog as a source for inspiring it and thats how I found it. I thought she did a great job and wanted to show it off – plus I like that poster.
I also LOVE anything helvetica.
Okay, so my husband fell asleep on the couch at 8:15 and disappeared into neverland shortly thereafter and here I was, bored as hell and then I found this Brick House Blog and next thing I know it's 9:52 and I have had a very entertaining evening. So thank you, love your house and I can totally relate to the changing things around every 3 days because that is my little quirk. And, you should check out my first blog ever that showcases my beautiful 7 ft. console from salvation army. I am thinking you may just love it. Okay then, I will follow your follies and thanks again.
Sorry Morgan, little bit of confusion on my behalf
I think you mean 'piqued,' not 'peaked.' =)
yup, spell check does nothing for things like that. good thing this is a home decor blog and not an english class.
I need to go and buy that poster now.
When will that Keep Calm and Carry On poster go away and leave us all alone?
Great shelf. How do I do it?
That is like an exact replica of your house but with ubiquitous art.
