Classing things up a bit

May 7th, 2009

I’m slowly adjusting to the dining room to be a little more sophisticated? Is that what I want? I don’t know, maybe cohesive… At least I got some pretty things for my hutch. Damn you ebay.

The dreaded vignette. Still trying to perfect the art of styling…

I think instead of the tulip chairs the perfect chairs for the dining room would be a set of cream Eames DSR chairs with black eiffel tower bases. Gorgeous!

Thanks for reminding me — my fiance has the number of a guy with some cheap cheap cream Eames chairs, and he never called! “We already have too many chairs …” Pffffpt.

Nothing says class like a portrait of a random balding guy with a red forehead :)

Christina, my husband says the same thing. I say “too many chairs” is an impossibility.

theres no such thing as too many chairs. total myth.

your guy needs to give me that number – cheap cream Eames? I’d blow guys on the corner for that kind of score.

Heh. I did have to bribe him, but the call has been placed! Fingers crossed …

I kind of have the same problem … I like the look of a matching set, but now that I have matching chairs, I want to mix up the set. I think the shell chairs will look great with my wood table.
